Kersten’s experience in pet and home care began in 2013, when she launched her own pet sitting business while in school. What started as a seasonal service has slowly evolved into a long-term passion and commitment to providing thoughtful, high-quality care for animals and the homes they live in.

She brings extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, rodents, ferrets, and other exotic pets. Through her work with the Humane Society and a wildlife rehabilitation center, she developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, temperaments, and specialized care needs across breeds and species.

Her approach is highly individualized, rooted in the belief that every pet deserves care tailored specifically to them. She takes the time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level, whether that means active, engaging exercise for high-energy dogs or a calm, patient presence for older, anxious, or reactive pets. Her priority is always to create a safe, stable, and genuinely nurturing environment.

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Kersten works remotely in corporate consulting, allowing her the flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Now based in Denver, she is focused on growing her pet and home care services and with a high level of professionalism and dedication.

In addition to pet care, she is meticulous about maintaining the home environment. She is clean, organized, and attentive to detail, with experience caring for extensive plant collections as well. Known for her trustworthiness and communication, she provides regular updates and photos to ensure complete peace of mind.
